Carl Zeiss 5x10x70 World War II anti-aircraft gun sight binoculars with variable magnification. Magnification change is accomplished by rotating the two position handle in the middle of the binocular. The magnification is thus altered from 10x to 5x. 5x magnification gives an even wider angle picture enabling the operator to spot oncoming aircraft better. The binocular also featured a filter selector with lower “Day” level, yellow filters and upper “Night” grey filters. These binoculars also have the original weather shielded sunshades for protection against sea water with drainage holes underneath.
