A highly decorated painted grand piano by the French house of Pleyel, in the Louis XVI style raised on six fluted supports. The palatially styled and gilded case displays painted scenes portraying Apollo and nine muses against rural landscape. The inscription inside the piano dates the instrument according to Pleyel company records circa 1898. Viewing by appointment only |
