Ship builders model of the Lady Truscott

Built in 1910 by G. Rennie & Co., the “Lady Truscott” was registered at the Port of London in 1911 to the Mayor and Commonality & Citizens of the City of London.  The ship is listed in Lloyd’s Mercantile Navy List and Maritime Directory through 1929, after which time it does not appear in any of the sources checked.

Lady Truscott’s husband, George Wyatt Truscott, created first Baronet Truscott in 1909, had been Lord Mayor of London in 1908-1909 like his father, Sir Francis Wyatt Truscott, before him in 1879-1880.
